Utsav

Brushes and pencils, colors and hands were all at work on the 2nd, 4th and 5th morning of Utsav when students from different colleges participated in painting, cartooning, rangoli, collage and clay modeling.

Rangoli saw an additional "Staff-Rangoli" where a few of the staff members of MU contested against each other. The theme given for painting was "A Train Journey" while that for collage was "Childhood to Adolescence". Talent showed up yet again when cartoonists curved and turned their pencil leads to give forms and shapes to cartoons. A student from WGSHA came just to see the paintings, inspite of his exams going on, "The color palette of almost all painters consisted of nice shades that came onto paper. Pretty paintings", Mayur said.

MU is filled with artistic talent that surely shows up for such events. Installation was also a part of the art events in which MIC bagged the 1st place.
